Trustners("Trustners," "we," "us," or "our") provides institutional escrow, payment protection, and related fintech services to consumers, businesses, and platform partners worldwide. Because we process financial transactions, identity verification, and sensitive deal data, privacy and data protection are core to how we design and operate our services.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices available to you, and the safeguards we apply. It applies to information collected through our website, applications, APIs, and customer support channels (collectively, the "Services").

2. Who we are
Trustners is the data controller for personal information processed in connection with direct use of our Services, except where we process data solely on behalf of a business customer acting as controller (for example, marketplace or platform integrations). In those cases, the business customer's privacy notice governs their relationship with end users, and Trustners acts as a processor under applicable data protection law.

3. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Visitors to escrowbolt.com and related marketing properties
- Registered account holders, buyers, sellers, brokers, and authorized parties
- Business customers and their authorized administrators
- Developers and partners integrating with Trustners APIs

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or payment partners linked from our platform. Those providers maintain their own privacy policies.

- Business name, role, and authorized representative details
- Government-issued identification and verification documents where required
- Beneficial ownership, KYC, and AML screening data for regulated transactions
- Profile preferences, communication settings, and support history
4.2 Transaction and escrow information
- Transaction terms, counterparties, milestones, and release conditions
- Funding status, disbursement records, and inspection or dispute events
- Shipping, delivery, tracking, and evidence submitted in connection with a deal
- Communications between parties conducted through or referenced in the platform

4.3 Payment and financial information

Trustners does not store full payment card numbers on its servers. Card and bank data is transmitted over encrypted connections and processed by certified payment partners.

- Log data, session activity, API calls, and security event telemetry
- Pages viewed, features used, referral sources, and interaction patterns

Trustners serves customers in more than 190 countries. Your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other mechanisms recognized under applicable law.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods vary based on transaction type, jurisdiction, and whether an account remains active.
Escrow and financial records may be retained for extended periods required by financial regulation and audit obligations, even after an account is closed or a transaction is completed.

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls, segregation of client funds, logging, and continuous monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

Trustners does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
